Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 10, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Ammpli ("Ammpli", "we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit and use our website and web application at ammpli.com.
Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of our services. By accessing or using Ammpli, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy.
2. Who We Are
Ammpli is a product of BIAMI.io. For privacy inquiries, you can reach us at [email protected].
Ammpli is a web-based platform designed to help you manage content, websites, and client relationships. It operates entirely through your browser — no desktop application or browser extension is required.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account information: Your name and email address when you register for an account.
- Profile data: Any optional information you add to your profile.
- Content data: Content, website data, client details, and other information you create or upload within the app.
- Communications: Messages you send us via email or our support channels.
3.2 Payment Information
Payment processing is handled exclusively by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or bank account details on our servers. We only receive a payment confirmation token and basic billing details (e.g., last four digits, billing country) from Stripe.
3.3 Automatically Collected Information
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, and interactions within the app — used solely to improve the product.
- Log data: Server logs including IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and timestamps, retained for security and diagnostic purposes.
- Cookies and similar technologies: See Section 9 for details.
3.4 What We Do Not Collect
We do not collect browsing history from websites other than ammpli.com, location data beyond country-level (derived from IP), or any biometric data.
4. How We Collect Information
- Directly from you when you register, use the app, or contact us.
- Automatically via cookies, server logs, and analytics tools as you navigate ammpli.com.
- From third parties such as Stripe (payment confirmation) or authentication providers if you use social login.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account and authenticate you securely.
- Deliver, operate, and maintain the Ammpli web application.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions.
- Send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, invoices).
- Send product updates and service announcements (you may opt out at any time).
- Analyse usage patterns to improve features and fix bugs.
- Detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information to any third party, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
6. Legal Basis for Processing
Where applicable (e.g., for users in the UK or EEA), we rely on the following legal bases under data protection law:
- Contract performance: Processing necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
- Legitimate interests: Improving our product, maintaining security, and preventing fraud — where these do not override your rights.
- Legal obligation: Retaining financial records as required by law.
- Consent: For optional communications such as marketing emails, where we ask for your explicit agreement.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: Trusted vendors who assist us in operating Ammpli (e.g., hosting, email delivery, payment processing). They are contractually bound to use your data only for the services they provide to us.
- Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or government authority.
- Protection of rights: To investigate, prevent, or act on suspected illegal activity, fraud, or violations of our Terms of Service.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
8. Third-Party Services
Ammpli integrates with or relies on the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy that we encourage you to review:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Google Fonts / CDN providers — font delivery and front-end assets
- Email delivery providers — transactional email (e.g., account notifications)
These third parties receive only the minimum data necessary to perform their function. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites linked from within Ammpli.
10. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary:
- Account data (name, email) is retained for the duration of your active account, plus a short period afterwards to handle any final billing or disputes.
- Content and project data you create in Ammpli is retained until you delete it or close your account.
- Payment records are retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations (typically seven years).
- Server logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and diagnostic purposes.
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
11. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit.
- Hashed and salted storage of passwords (we never store plaintext passwords).
- Access controls limiting who within BIAMI.io can access personal data.
- Regular security reviews of our infrastructure.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by law.
12. International Data Transfers
BIAMI.io operates globally. Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including countries that may not have the same data protection standards as your home country. Where we transfer data from the UK or EEA to third countries, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by relevant authorities.
13. Your Rights
Regardless of your location, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete your account and associated personal data.
- Export your content data in a portable format.
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
14. GDPR Rights (UK & EEA Residents)
If you are located in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the UK GDPR / EU GDPR:
- Right to restriction: Request that we limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.
- Right to object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
- Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Right to lodge a complaint: UK residents may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. EEA residents may contact their local supervisory authority.
15. CCPA Rights (California Residents)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you the following rights:
- Right to know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months.
- Right to delete: Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to opt out of sale: We do not sell personal information. No opt-out is therefore required, but this right exists should our practices change.
- Right to non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.
To submit a CCPA request, email [email protected] with the subject line "CCPA Request".
16. Children's Privacy
Ammpli is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
17. Changes to This Policy

- Update the "Effective date" at the top of this page.
- Send a notification to the email address associated with your account.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of Ammpli after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
